I believe the foundation to design is one's ability to articulate imperfections into a perfect garment. Inspired by the casual rebelliousness that championed the rugged ‘everyday look’ of vintage Americana, I’ve sought to create a new age of luxury American fashion that fuses the enduring edginess of classic workwear staples with the elegant grandeur of Italian “alta moda”. To create jackets that enrich the wearer with confidence and a sense of subtle rugged refinement.

In the effort to realize perfection in every stitch, all of Auggie Dean’s garments are handmade here in Los Angeles, California by a small, dedicated team. Every detail, no matter how small, represents an essential step in creating a garment worthy of the Auggie Dean name. In order to ensure proper attention is given to each individual element on every garment, all of our clothes are made in small, limited batches of 50 jackets. What we’re creating isn’t just a piece of luxury, it’s a physical representation of timeless beauty. Like the immortality granted to a moment captured on film, I hope my jackets grant the same sense of grandeur and youthfulness to those few that dawn it.
